SCOPE

Levar Enterprise, and its specific rental business affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “Levar,” “we,” or “us”) are Data Controllers for the purposes of this Privacy Policy (“Policy”). This Policy describes how we treat information that identifies, or can be used to identify, you as an individual (“Personal Information”) that we collect in connection with our vehicle rental business offline and through our websites and other online platforms where this Policy is located (we refer to these online platforms collectively as our “Platform”).

This Policy does not apply to:

  • Our collection of employment-related Personal Information.

  • Personal information collected by the network of licensees operated by us. We operate a network of licensees in provision of our services worldwide and are affiliated to many other companies through ownership. These licensees, affiliates and entrusted third-party vendors are independent companies, and they are not owned or controlled by us or covered by this Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of our licensees or other similar third parties with whom you may transact.

  • Information that is not Personal Information or does not individually identify you, such as aggregated or anonymized data, aggregated preferences, vehicle identification numbers or GPS or telematics information that is not associated with your identity or used to identify you.

NOTICE AT COLLECTION

We collect Personal Information from you and about you. Here are some examples of the information we may collect, how we may use it, how we may disclose it and whether we share it for cross-contextual advertising purposes (“sharing”) or sell it. We acknowledge that, in some jurisdictions, we may be restricted under local law from collecting, using, and disclosing certain categories of Personal Information, such as telematics and vehicle data, as described in the chart. Below this Notice at Collection, you will find more detailed descriptions of how we may collect, use and disclose Personal Information, including descriptions of what types or entities are our corporate partners or business partners.

Our Personal Information Retention Criteria: The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”) requires that we disclose the criteria we use to determine how long we will retain each category of Personal Information we collect. Oftentimes, our records contain several of these categories of Personal Information combined together and therefore we consider, on a case-by-case basis, a number of factors to assess how long Personal Information is retained, including any periods of time that are permitted or required by law.   • From In-Vehicle Technologies and Telematics Devices. We may receive information about you from technologies that are native to or installed in vehicles, including through navigation systems telematics, gauges, GPS systems or event data recorders. This may also include information received from a dashboard camera or information received from original manufacturers (OEMs).

  • From Third Parties. We may receive information about you from other sources. For example, this may include receiving information from:

    • Our corporate partners, such as corporate discount program sponsors (including sponsors of employer/corporate rate plans and credit card and travel club discount programs) or corporate membership program participants.

    • Our business partners, including licensees, assigns, advertisers, analytics companies, booking channel providers, advertising networks, social media sites, companies that offer joint promotions with us or companies with which we collaborate to provide products and services, and companies that help us learn more about our customers, such as consumer reporting agencies, data brokers and data aggregators.

    • Third party devices.

    • Social media sites, including if you interact with one of our social media pages.

    • Your contacts who provide your information to us in connection with our products and services.

    • Companies that provide information to supplement what we already know about you, including consumer reporting agencies, data brokers and data aggregators. Certain third parties may link your name and email address to other information they have collected. This might include online usage information.

HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Here are more details and examples regarding how we may use your Personal Information:

  • To Provide You With Goods and Services. This mayinclude fulfilling your requests for our products and services, completing transactions, issuing gift cards, confirming or offering insurance in connection with car rentals, offer services and discounts such as counter discount programs, military rates or government discounts, process employment funded payments, discounts or program and administering employment accounts in connection with our car rental services. This may also include providing options related to refueling and imposing fees following a rental.

  • For Accommodations Purposes. For example, this may include accommodating special medical needs (e.g., hand controls) and providing sickness protection.

  • To Run and Improve Our Business. We may use your information to analyze and improve our Platform, products and services. We may do this using artificial intelligence technologies. This may also include using your information for business administration purposes, such as for accounting, claims administration, dispute resolution, record keeping, legal, systems operations and administration, and other administrative purposes. This may also include using your Personal Information to provide our loyalty program. We may also use personal information to improve the content of our messaging and understand how you interact with our communications or our Platform. This may also include maintaining our fleet of vehicles, such as detect damage on our vehicles, to locate the vehicle during your rental if the vehicle is lost, stolen, or overdue, to determine the time of the vehicle’s departure from and return to our rental location and to estimate the levels of fuel in the vehicle’s tank upon its return to our rental location.

  • To Communicate With You. This may include responding to your feedback or providing customer support. It may also include responding to your inquiries and questions. We may communicate with you about your account or our relationship. We may also contact you about this Policy or our Platform terms and conditions.

  • To Understand Your Interests. This may include understanding what products and services may be of interest to you or remembering your preferences. This may also include customizing your experience with us.

  • To Determine Your Identity or Eligibility. This may include confirming your identity in connection with our car rental services. This may also include evaluating your eligibility for our products and services and taking actions to suspend or terminate your ability to continue to rent vehicles or suspend or terminate your accounts with us.

  • For Marketing Purposes. We may provide you with marketing communications about promotions, our company and our products and services. This may also include using your information to personalize your experience on our Platform and with our products. We may also engage in cross-contextual advertising and retargeting.   • To Combine Information. For example, we may combine information that we collect offline with information we collect through our Platform. We may also combine information we collect about you from the different devices you use to access our Platform.

  • For Legal or Security Purposes. This could include protecting our company and consumers who use our products and services. It may also include protecting our Platform or fulfilling our legal requirements. This may also include using your personal information to send emergency services.

  • As Otherwise Permitted By Law or As We May Notify You.

  • To Insurance Companies. For example, we may share Personal Information with insurance companies in connection with a claim or dispute or for other legal purposes.

  • To Gift Card Companies. This may include gift card platform providers or gift card manufacturers.

  • To Any Successors to All or Part of Our Business. For example, if we merge with, are acquired by, or sell part of our business to another entity. This may include an asset sale, corporate reorganization or other change of control.

  • Deletion. This means that you can request that we delete Personal Information about you that we have collected from you.

  • Correction. This means that you can request that we correct inaccurate Personal Information that we maintain about you.

  • Right to Non-Discrimination. This means that we are prohibited from discriminating against you if you exercise your rights under applicable law.

Agents. Agents that you have authorized to act on your behalf may also submit privacy requests as instructed above. The agent must also provide evidence that they have your written permission to submit a request on your behalf. If we are unable to verify the authenticity of a request, we may ask you for more information or may deny the request.

Please note that we do not knowingly share for cross-contextual marketing purposes or sell the Personal Information of individuals who are under 16 years old.

A Note About Privacy Rights and Loyalty Information: We may not be able to provide you with all of the benefits of our loyalty program if you choose to exercise your privacy rights. However, we will try to provide benefits that are unrelated to your privacy request. For example, if you request that we delete Personal Information that we have about you, we may not be able to identify your loyalty program activity or history and you may not receive the full scope of program benefits.

NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVES

We may offer various financial incentives in relation to our products and services. For example, we may provide discounts, coupons and other benefits for customers who join our loyalty program or sign up for a coupon. When you participate in a financial incentive, we collect Personal Information from you. You have the ability to opt out of the financial incentive, or our subsequent use of your Personal Information in connection with a financial incentive, at any time by contacting us at info@levar-inc.com. The value of your Personal Information is reasonably related to the value of the offer or discount presented to you. In some instances, or for some programs, we may provide you with additional terms or conditions relating to a financial incentive.

CHILDREN UNDER 18

The Platform where this Policy is located is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable data from persons under the age of 18 and strive to comply with the provisions of COPPA (The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

We leverage artificial intelligence ("AI") to help increase our efficiency and assist our customers. For example, we may use AI to manage and direct Customer Care calls, or provide you with assistance via a chat bot on our website to help you find answers faster or make changes to your reservation.

We also use AI technology and automated tools to assist in detecting and assessing damage to our vehicles. This technology may analyze scans, photos or videos, location, and timestamp information at the beginning and end of your rental period.

COOKIES AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

You have certain choices about how we collect, use and disclose your information in connection with our use of cookies and our provision of electronic communications. Certain choices you make are browser- and device-specific.

Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies:

Many browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you disable cookies or refuse to accept a request to place a cookie, it is possible that some parts of our Platform will not function properly, and the advertising you receive when you visit our Platform or other online platforms may not be tailored to your interests. Certain options are browser- and device-specific.

  • Server-Side Tracking: We use Server-Side tracking which means that when you opt-out, instead of collecting user interactions and sending tracking data directly to third-party platforms, data is sent to a dedicated internal server that anonymizes the data before sharing it with third parties.

  • Facebook: We may use Facebook cookies to target ads to you. You can learn about how to opt out of receiving targeted advertisements from Facebookhere.

  • Email Tools: You can also change your email settings to block the automatic download of images in email messages, as such images may contain technologies that help us understand how you interact with the message.

  • NAI Opt Out: We adhere to the Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising. Our Do-Not-Track Policy: Some browsers have “do not track” features that allow you to tell a website not to track you. These features are not all uniform. Our designated service providers assist us with advertisement display functions and related analytics for our websites. The Internet is not 100% secure. We cannot promise that your use of our Platform will be completely safe. We encourage you to use caution when using the Internet. We use reasonable means to safeguard Personal Information under our control.  We use reasonable administrative, technical, personnel, and physical measures that are designed to safeguard and ensure the integrity of Personal Information. To help us protect your privacy, you should maintain the confidentiality of any logon IDs and passwords, member numbers, or other identifiers or credentials you may have set up or that were provided in connection with your participation in or use of our products, services, or websites. STORAGE OF INFORMATION

Information we maintain may be stored in or outside of the United States. If you live outside of the United States, you understand and agree that we may transfer your Personal Information to the United States.
